Enhanced user experience through new features and visual components
In the first half of 2023, I contributed to Trulioo's design system expansion and feature redesign initiatives. The goal was to introduce new functionalities while modernizing the user experience to align with the company's rebranding efforts. I played a key role in creating illustrations, components, and interfaces that reflected the new Trulioo brand identity. Here are some of those works!

Detailed transaction view
The detailed transaction view showed a lot of information that immediately bombarded the user once they interacted with it. To improve the user experience, I implemented collapsible sections and accordions, which reduced information overload and saved tons of space.
By carefully considering user needs and behavior, I optimized information hierarchy and visual design, making it easier for users to quickly access and understand transaction details.
01. USER EXPERIENCE
Since these transactions dealt with sensitive information, I developed a secure and visually distinct approach for handling newly-coined “protected” information. This approach improved data security and user understanding by creating specific visual cues, such as illustrations and tags, to clearly communicate the reason for hidden data.

Trulioo’s transaction history experience was similar to online banking, including a default list view and a more detailed view of individual transactions, however the existing design lacked modern features like advanced filtering and search, and did not follow Trulioo’s new design system.

02. VISUAL COMPONENTS
Users were awarded with certifications and badges for completing courses in the Trulioo platform learning program. I designed the badges and certificates which would be seen by both Trulioo employees and customers.

Make your work pixel-perfect
I’ve learned the importance of consistent detail in design. Working with the Trulioo team and keeping that in mind, I’ve developed a design process focused on preventing errors, especially in reusable elements.
Delivered designs
Working with the Trulioo team to bring these designs to life was an incredible honor. It’s awesome knowing that a bunch of customers will see some of my work. Additionally, it's exciting to think that designers at Trulioo will be using my work in their future designs!
